Playing RISK on Facebook…

This is what I think of playing ATTACK (facebook’s electronic version of RISK). It sucks.
Now, like any other place I visit on the internet, I meet good people, honest folks and friends I’m glad to see online.
But Facebook sees no shortage of retards.
The typical game of RISK starts with players wanting Australia most of all (good defense, fair revenu).
But when the placement of armies starts, some players become disruptive. Some put their armies in Australia although someone else has already put armies there -a clear sign of disrespect. Some will place all their troops just outside of Australia and lash out against whoever is there, costing heavy casualties to both. Some, and this happens at EVERY SINGLE GAME, will take a seat on the board and for unknown reasons, they leave the game to be replace by a Botto (automated player called BOTTO). I’ve seen many games with five players including THREE BOTTOS, leaving only two real players…until another chaotic player takes over a Botto and destroys you where you didn’t expect it.
I won’t even talk about the grown up children who take anything as an offense and attack you mercilessly even if it costs them the game. Some people have no sense of humor. It’s both sad and pathetic.
Chaos, anarchy and destruction seems to be on some people’s minds. They all seem to congregate to ATTACK on Facebook.
The game had some technical problems last week that seem to have been resolved. But those days where you couldn’t take over a Botto (or, unfortunately return to a game you started) are gone.
We have to deal with the “Botto-jumpers” at every single game. There’s no way around it. It’s part of that game now.
To all those of you who, like me, are addicted to Facebook games, I hear your pain and I share your pain.
To the rest, I say STFD, you friggin a55! (most cursing on that game gets censored).
So, I give this game a 5.5/10. Technical problems are solved, no games have frozen today which is 180 degree turnaround. But the hostility, the harsh language and the abusive language is rampant. The sheer stupidity of players who have no other plan but to create chaos and destroy armies randomly is a big problem.
A problem that may never be solved on a user-friendly social site.
