Once upon a time, I would have said “screw FOX” for cancelling a series which instantly proved to be better than STAR TREK.
Today… and I know this is sacreligeous amongst Browncoats… I say SCREW JOSS WEDON.
A girlfriend of mine lent me the first season of BUFFY, and then went on to say “don’t worry, it picks up on the fourth episode. AND the other seasons get better and better.”
Bitch, I watched the intro to The Train Job on tv and called my sister during the commercial so she could watch it too. Don’t tell me that crap gets better after Joss wasted perfectly good film on 17 episodes prior to that!
She hadn’t seen Firefly, and loved it as soon as she borrowed my DVD box set. *rolls eyes* Big surprise…
To tell you the truth, I’ve seen better since. I felt like I lost some friends when I finished watching Twin Peaks. Once I finish watching The L Word, I’ll feel the same, if not more so.
